Sometimes I leave an anime series playing on repeat overnight. Then I highlight all the episodes for later viewing, and you can find the links here.
What anime series do you prefer to broadcast overnight?
There are a handful of things to consider:
- The series has to be easy to get into. Whether it be the beginning, the middle, or near the end of the series, it should be still interesting to watch w/o requiring too much prior knowledge of the series or previous episodes. Detail-heavy, complex stories are to be avoided. Light-hearted and slice-of-life series are usually the perfect examples.
- The series can't contain nudity (nipples/genitalia). JTV doesn't allow pornographic content. No Princess Lover or Aki-Sora OVAs for you! Ecchi (google it) is OK though.
- The series should be complete. Although I do cast ongoing animes, I don't usually leave them running in a playlist overnight. I prefer to wait until the season is over. No particular reason really, besides seeing if the series is actually worth watching through to the end.
- I only cast series that I've watched all the way. So if you have any suggestions that meet these requirements above, let me know and I'll check it out. Please be patient and allow me some time to watch it. I barely have time to ever watch anime, let alone be on the computer anymore. What appeals to you the most in watching a series?
Extremely attractive girls and catchy theme songs. Plot comes second.
What other things should I consider in my anime recommendation for the broadcast?
If you're picky about accuracy and quality of subs like I am, tell me which fansub group I should download from.
Second, the best method of download is MegaUpload, because I use my brother's lifetime premium account. My alternative is torrents. If you can, provide me a link to the download. I usually download torrents from TokyoTosho, but MegaUpload links are faster and much more convenient for me.
Third, be sure to let me know if there're any differences between the original and DVD version of the series. Sometimes the quality in the DVD rises, as well as removal of censorship in certain scenes. If there are absolutely no differences, then I may just go with TV version episodes. (sorry, I am NOT going to cast Blu-Ray episodes. It will probably lag my computer.)
Lastly, let me know why you like this anime and how it fits my preferences.
Why repeat only one series and not put a bunch on a playlist?
So people who jumped in late have a chance to rewatch it right after. Plus I don't have that much anime to start with.
