Hey I really like your setup and was trying to mirror it, but I'm running into a BMI roadblock. I can't get any app except media express to show a HD signal. FME, VHStools, ustream producer, vidblaster, basically everything else will only set the input as 'NTSC' and I have to turn on the video input processing to get a signal to the program. The workaround seems to be using Media Express v1 to set your input before starting any other app, but that did not work for me. It took me forever just to find ME v1, I even went as far as a full OS reinstall using the drivers that came with ME v1 and it still didn't work. You said your setup FAQ is out of date, are you still having to the use ME to 'jumpstart' a 720p signal into VHMS? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. I'm doing it now with the SD downsample, but I want to use the card the way it was designed, even if it's not letting me. Thanks

Yes, I still use ME to change the video input to whatever my console is currently set to. I don't know any other way to do it, but let me know if you do find a way. Sorry I can't help you there.
Also, explain why it "doesn't work"

I couldn't get VH Multi cam to work at all, gave up on it. FME 3.1 came out with BMI support built in, was using that to stream until a couple days ago when I found out 3.1 would enable VH Multicam.
Now I can 'jumpstart' the 720p input with 3.1 and get it to show up in VHMultiCam then send it to FME 3.1, 3.0 & 2.5 at 720p. I just get wicked stuttering trying to stream 720p. FME will actually stop with an error and restart itself. My computer is a beast, I've tried the other PCI-E slot, tried everything I can think of for real.
Still the only way I can stream is so downconvert the input to anamorphic SD and set FME to 720x486@29.97.
Basically I'm summing the whole thing up to some setups it works, some setups it doesn't. I can capture 720p at a solid 60fps using their software or premiere, but I can't stream a resized 720p version?? Don't get it.
Your stream is still the crispest I've seen using the BMI.

I still have not tried using FME 3.1, although hearing about the BMI support, it sounds promising. I'll have to check it out sometime.
