 Adobe (3.1)FMS URL
« Thread Started on Apr 17, 2010, 2:04am »

First off I would like to say I have been watching the stream for about 2-3 months now, and I enjoy it all.

I also appreciate that Moogle set up this website to help his viewers and others.

Setup: Dazzle Video Creator Plus HD ; Pinnacle Studio HD ; Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3.1

I have video and gameplay audio correctly working on justin tv. I am trying to get audio along with my console's gameplay audio. In another words, I want to talk to a stream, AND have gameplay audio at the same time, as justin tv apparently doesn't support having both being played at the same time. I've downloaded Adobe Encoder 3.1, because I have read that it will let me talk during a stream and have gameplay audio at the same time.

The problem seems to be the the primary server or something is incorrect when i enter it in. Am I copypastaing the wrong url or am I just doing something completely wrong?

This first picture is the start. I clicked on FME 3.0, downloaded it, then opened it.

I obtained this code when it opened up. I highlighted and copied what I thought was the correct url.

I pasted it into the fields "FMS URL" and "Stream".

I clicked on "Connect", right below the fields, and then this error popped up. I am not sure what I did wrong or what further action I should do.

Please help me if you can Moogle, or anybody else that can help.

Thanks.

The FMS URL field should be: rtmp://live.justin.tv/app

The Stream should be: live_*******_*********

URGENT!!!
Please edit your post or remove it ASAP. You released some information that can get your JTV channel hi-jacked. I would remove/modify it for you, but I do not have the powers to do so.

You go to Open Profile in Flash Media Encoder, not open the actual XML file. You can just get the code from the file if you wanted to.

I see no error pic. Be sure to censor your stream tag if you do post one.

I did indeed post it, but snail told me to modify my post and delete it, which I did. 3 out of the 4 pictures are now gone.

I will get back to you guys asap as to whether if it functions or not.

I opened the FMS File, as my first post showed. I then copied the url as shown. I did this with FME 3.1, and not 3.0, as Justintv updated it recently to add 3.1.

I pasted the url below into "Stream". Then, I copy and pasted the "FMS URL" given to me by Snail, into the "FMS URL"

I click on connect and then the bottom left hand corner changes to show a green bar which appears to be frozen, and the word "Connected". I then click on "Start", and the error message below appears.

I am currently stuck at this part in trying to be able to get my voice to go along with the gameplay sounds over the broadcast. Please advise me what I should do next.

Thanks.

the FMS URL is right. delete live.justin.tv/app out of the stream line. it should just be "live <unique code>"

also i already told you it would've been easier to just go File > Open Profile with FMLE, select the XML file you downloaded. it will automatically fill in those fields.
